The Life Goes On Foundation's Ostomy Appeal
The Life Goes On Foundation runs an Ostomy Appeal, providing donated ostomy supplies to those in need throughout the 3rd world, developing countries and areas of disaster. The supplies are donated by generous individuals who no longer need them or have unused surplus and by organizations based here in the U.K that wish to donate their returned products.

The foundation has established close links with Blythswood Care, an international relief aid agency based here in the Highlands of Scotland, and has kindly agreed for the foundation to use it’s warehouse and distribution services in order for the transition from the donor to the grateful ostomate, some living in desperate conditions, to run as smoothly as possible.

All the ostomy supplies that are donated to the foundation’s ostomy appeal arrive at Blythswood The supplies are then unpacked and re-sorted into their assorted uses, makes and sizes, and there are soooo many different brands, styles and sizes. The supplies are then re-boxed made ready for packaging.

The supplies are the packed into large boxes, loaded on pallets and made ready for shipment to those who desperately need them.

So that’s how it all works folks. If you have any unwanted ostomy supplies, specialist garments or any other medical supplies you no longer need and wish to donate them to the foundation’s ostomy appeal then please send your supplies to the address below.

There is also an Ostomy Appeal section within our forum - a tool for you the donor to liaise with the foundation to avoid sending supplies that can’t be re-distributed. If you are unsure as to whether your donated supplies could be of use, then post in the forum and we will reply to your query as soon as possible.
